Calm Dental is proud to serve the entire Rochester, NY community. Situated in Western New York along the shores of Lake Ontario, Rochester is a medium size city home to over 200,000 residents. Like many other boom towns, Rochester grew rapidly because of the rapid development of manufacturing businesses. Harnessing the power from the Genesee River and transporting goods over the Lake, allowed for businesses to quickly and easily produce items. The area quickly became home to some of the largest corporations at the time including Kodak, Western Union, Xerox, and more. The city took a big hit once jobs started moving overseas, but has recently transitioned into attracting businesses in the high-tech industry.
Despite its ups and downs, Rochester has remained a great place to raise a family. It has been featured on many top lists including the “most livable city,” and third-best place to raise a family by Forbes. There is always something to do and see for families of all ages including the famous Strong National Museum of Play, watching a baseball game at Frontier Park, or even visiting a brewery for the adults.
